Default Clickwheel for selecting party members?

I've tried Korean-esque monking setups involving complicated keyboard mapping, but every time I've tried it's such a terrible experience. I have a very nice skill use keyboard setup, but I still click to select a target.
Is it possible to map your clickwheel to Select Party members, and simply scroll through them as such? If that's possible, it'd be so nice. If it would require a macro, how to do that?

I can't see it, somehow. Select party member 1 through 8 need individual key combos and I'm not sure that the mousewheel can be set to increment through separate key clicks in that way.

Considered a G15 or similar, with the 4 G-keys set to select party member 1-4 and tier two set for party members 5-8? Not ideal, but better than what else is available.

Is the numpad not separate to the usual nummber keys? Like assign NUMPAD1 to party member one, etc.? Hard to recall without having GW open in front of me.

I don't believe so, and even if it were, you'd be eliminating your mouse, which I use for click-to-move for kiting in PvP.

The other thing is that I use a laptop
Fortunately the F-keys (weapon switching) are so much closer!

If I were to get either a mouse or a keyboard, which would you get Snograt?

Personally i'd go for the keyboard. As it offers more viable options that would take getting used to, but would eventually be more useful.

I still have to click when i infuse, and as such causes me to infuse too late ot misheal altogether.

You could conceivably use an advanced mouse and map your scroll wheels to the keys you have assigned for next and previous party members. You could do this with a macro as well.

I don't see why this would help though. I doubt it would be very accurate and it wouldn't be very quick. Having to scroll through 5 or 6 party members to hit an infuse doesn't seem very useful to me. Clicking is probably faster.

Yeah, I'd have to say keyboard. Any mouse with more than the standard 5 buttons is going to be a pig to train yourself on.

Wonder if that Z-Board add-on keyboard gadget would be any good for you?
